How to land a Teacher Job

Hello,
My name is Migadalia Soto and I am the director of Bilingual/ESL/World Languages in the Camden City School District. Our district is for kindergarten through 12th grade.
I landed my first teaching job by researching vacancies and learning about the district that I am currently in.
I landed my first teaching job because I possess these qualities; I am fully bilingual Spanish and English. I hold standard certificates in Biological Sciences and Bilingual /Bicultural Eduaction. Iam a hard working individual that always strives to do the best job I can do. I am dedicated and eager to meet the needs of all children specially the ELL students. I have a great depth of knowledge in the science curriculum and content area as well as teaching second language learners (ELLS).
Finding a teaching job can be hard, but here is some advice to make it easier; research!! Take a look at the various school districts and or schools that have vacancies, select those were you will be interested in applying. Study and learn information about their demographics, strength and needs of the district or school. Review the districts test scores, curriculum and instructional programs used at the various schools as well as the grade levels. Then devise a plan describing how your experiences and qualifications best match that particular district or school.
